Netatalk Problem

Versuche grad auf meinen Root (Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop LTS) einen Netatalk Server einzurichten (um diesen in ein MacOS X Netzwerk als Netzwerkfreigabe zur Verfügung zu haben)

Beim Starten des Dienstes werde ich aber immer mit der Meldung

/etc/init.d/netatalk start
Starting Netatalk services (this will take a while): socket: Address family not supported by protocol
socket: Address family not supported by protocol
atalkd: can't get interfaces, exiting.

abgeschmettert.

Hab bereits gegooglet und es kann ein fehlender AFP Support im Linux Kernel sein aber hab zugegen kein Plan wie man das lösen kann

also demnach was ich so dazu finde gibts 2 versionen, ich zitiere mal

There are two kinds of Appletalk servers you can run, and both can run at the same time. Classic Appletalk needs to run atalkd and afpd while Appletalk over TCP/IP only requires that afpd be running. Atalkd requires that Appletalk and TCP/IP support be compiled into your kernel while Appletalk IP only requires TCP/IP support. Many mainstream Linux distributions contain a kernel with Appletalk already compiled in and everyone probably has TCP/IP. You can check to see if your kernel supports Appletalk by typeing:
dmesg | grep Apple

es erfolgt keine ausgabe

dann ist nichts imkernel.
also nimmste die klasische in dem du atalkd und afpd laufen läst.
